We just closed his first sale for a total ad cost of $14,350 for a 3 month custom campaign. I've been in sales for over 50 years and the lead/prospecting system is the best I've ever seen.

I walked into a window and interior design company the other day and when I brought up the word google and would you like to be on the first page I got a earful. I submitted my clients info via fax Friday October 2nd. Last night (Tuesday) I received the confirmation from AdzZoo that the site was up and running. This morning I searched for running shoes madison wi and Endurance House (my client) came up on page 1 at the top of the sponsored links.

I showed my dentist a report I created which included 6 common search terms that people would use to find a local dentist like him; he didn't show up on google page 1 for any of them. Then I showed him a screen capture of google page 1 for one of those terms, and he knew most of the dentists that appeared. This clearly got his attention, and he immediately signed up for a 12 month campaign, observing that "this cost is nothing, for what you get". Selling like this is easy and fun!

 

I just wanted to share something terrific that I just saw this evening. Last week I sold 4 ads and faxed in the new contracts for 3 of them exactly 7 days ago. This evening I just happen to check to see if my clients were showing up. To my delight, not only did they appear on first page google at exactly the 7th day, BUT, they also appeared with various search queries(keywords). This is truly amazing...

Danny ask Marti Duerksen to write this about her experience two days ago...she has never been in sales and she told me, "I'm just gonna do it", here is her story:

A week ago Saturday (the Saturday of Labor Day weekend), I decided I was going to go out and walk into some businesses and just get used to talking to some people. (JUST DO SOMETHING!)

I printed out about 8 or 10 brochures. I started in a shopping center near the house where my chiropractor is and just walked from one end to the other. (It was sad to see how many stores had already closed in this strip that was no more than a year old.) I left 4 sets in that strip center. I was determined that I was not going home until I’d given everything out. I went to a couple of other strips and stopped at specific stores this time as my feet were beginning to shout at me!

My script was, “Hi, I’m Marti Duerksen. I work for your local advertising agency (no mention of AdzZoo). (There needs to be some sort of response that lets you go further after the greeting, but that’s not usually a problem here in the ‘friendly South’.) I would like to speak with the person who is in charge of marketing and advertising for your store (restaurant, company, etc.).”

If the person was there, I confirmed that they are the person who makes the decisions regarding the marketing and advertising for the establishment. I then asked them if they were advertising on the Internet. The 1 or 2 that were around gave answers such as they were on YellowPages.com, CitySearch.com, or not at all. I then asked how important it would be to them to be on page 1 of Google. All said that would be great, of course. I then gave them the information regarding the Guaranty. 2 said they’d look at it and get back to me saying it might not be right away. (I know, ‘get backs are not green backs’ but I was just testing the water at this point and getting up my courage.)

Because it was Saturday and the Labor Day weekend, most of the time the person responsible for marketing and advertising was not there so I asked for information such as the name of the right person, a time to contact, a contact phone #, email, etc. Just about every time, I got some sort of contact information, either phone or email. I stopped at the sales office of a nearby residential development for adults only (retired with some $...high class vendors’ biz cards) and picked up some of the business cards that decorators and such had left there for new residents.

Yesterday (Monday), after too many delays getting in my way, I was again determined to do some calling. I got on the phone in the afternoon…spent about 2 hours calling the businesses I had contact information for. I made 2 appointments for today. One first, an interior design shop and the other a custom shutter company… (Shutter company was one of the cards I’d picked up at the sales office of the nearby residential development). I did my research on both of these companies…doing Google searches for both; looking at their website, where else they may be advertising, etc. Neither showed up on any of the 1st 4 search pages of Google.

(For the shutter company, I searched on about 5 different cities surrounding them and the same was true for all except for the town where they are located.)

I printed these (select “Print Preview” then adjust size to lower % so that the whole page prints on 1 piece of paper, usually 80-85% works. That way the pages at the bottom show how many pages deep you’ve searched in Google.)

Armed with this information, I went to each appointment. Since I could show them the fact that they were not now showing on even the 1st 4 pages of Google, they were ‘hooked’ right off the bat. Both of them then said the same thing… “how much does it cost?” So, I pulled out the “8 pager” and showed them the prices and the guaranty. They talked it over, either with me or others. Both of them made some indication that they might want to think about it, or that they might try 3 months.

I then told them that if they’d take a 6 month ad and pay for it up-front, I’d throw in a free month and showed them that they would also get a 5% discount.

Both agreed and wrote out the checks. I sold the 1st ad for a 6 month 20 mile radius and the 2nd was a 6 month 50 mile radius, giving me a net commission of over $1300.00 for the day.

I’m amazed…doing the math that would be $338,000 dollars a year, even if you were working part and made ½ of that, $169,000 a year…give me a break and to stretch even more, if you were working just a little time a week, say 15 hours, and made 1 or 2 sales a week, that’s $2600 to $5200 a month…could that help, oh and let us not forget the other 4 ways we get paid, one being residual, “THE 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD”…next year, without lifting a finger, I’ll get $990 for that same sale, year after year, over and over again…WOW!!!

My mind is spinning, but, some more on today…I don’t take a pitch book along or a laptop as I have been told by some pretty reliable people that their feeling was that everyone knows that the Internet is the place to be and that Google is the search engine of choice for the majority of searches. The guaranty then sells the whole deal… If someone is already doing any kind of Internet advertising, they will be interested in doing more when they see the great prices. No one can touch what we do.

There’s also a way to get advertisers signed up as CD’s once the ads are doing what we promised they’ll do without ever bringing up MLM’s or Network Marketing. It is called it the “Preferred Customer Program” where, for only $299.00 (in our case), the advertiser can get 40% of their ad price back for just referring 2 people who purchase advertising. There’s a whole process that follows and I’ll have to get my notes out to find the details again…but it’s good.

I have some more calling to do as I’ve not gotten through to everyone. I also talked to some more businesses today where I did the business…so there are some more leads to follow-up on.

 

I am working with AdzZoo and last Friday I sold my first ad. One week later my client was on the first page of Goggle at the top. That day I received my commission check for the sale. What a difference. I can sell an ad and it will work AND I get paid. Great days!
